The War Memorial can be found at the junction of Kelvedon Road, Braxted Road and Tiptree Road. It commemorates Charles Oscar Wilson who lived at Heath House in Little Braxted Parish. It is believed that his parents, William and Elizabeth Wilson, made a major donation towards the Memorial and Charles has a whole panel to himself which is personalised with "IN the Memory of Our Son". The War Memorial is a Listed Building.
Commemorating those who have served and died in the World Wars, the Memorial becomes the focal point of the Parishes of Great Braxted, Little Braxted and Wickham Bishops each Remembrance Sunday. The parishioners of these three villages join in with the traditional service on this day and the laying of wreaths.
